Advocacy work is extremely rewarding in many ways. We’ve celebrated monumental victories right along with everyone in the entire duchenne muscular dystrophy community, but we’ve also experienced triumphs in private that have had a powerful effect on a single family. There have been setbacks, hardship, and heartache as well as I’m sure you can imagine and should probably expect. We’ve grown tremendously through it all though and have become stronger and more effective with every lesson learned. This truly is an experience that we are fully engaged in. Our advocacy work has become such a large part of our lives that the line that distinguishes our advocacy work from our personal lives no longer exists. It’s all one. It is life.
We’re grateful to be able to share some of the moments we’ve captured with anyone interested in taking a look. If that’s you, please take your time and browse around all you want. Thank you for your interest.
